The clearing industry has proven to be one of the hazardous jobs out there. Cogar takes all precautions to keep employs safe and return home in the fashion that they showed up in injury free. Cogar does perform a strenuous pre-employment evaluation on all cutters before they are hired to perform any hand cutting. All cutters are monitored by an experienced foreman at all times. Cogar looks for experience and knowledge in all employees that will be hand cutting trees. All crews on any Cogar operation perform a Job Site Analysis “JSA” at the beginning of each shift to identify any hazards that might be present and what precautions that might be needed to avoid these hazards.
